It has long been believed that the voices of the dead can be captured by recording sound. Supposed voices of spirit have been captured on both magnetic and digital recorders. In 2007, I accidentally recorded my first E.V.P.

In the years that followed, I've been to various places in the County of Buckinghamshire and have managed to capture disembodied voices.

These are my findings, from oldest to newest. This site will be updated as I record more.
1. "Never Again" - Kingshill 2007
This was my first E.V.P. and it was recorded in a house in Kingshill.

My friend and I were preparing to do a podcast on the night of my other friends funeral. I switched the device on and hit record for around ten seconds. I was alone in the room in silence.

Upon playback, the raspy voice could be heard clear as day without the need of headphones or noise removal.
2. "Struggling" - Pepperpot Woods 2009
In Prestwood, there are some woods called the 'Pepperpots'. Deep in these woods there are plaques and benches placed in memorial of people. Some of these plaques suggest ashes have been spread in those woods.

This was recording in response to me talking to my friend as we recorded on one of these benches, in 2009.
3. "Never Again" - Prestwood 16th August 2010
This familiar voice appears to be following me. I had previously recorded him again in September 2009, but that recording was lost.

It's interesting to note that the spectograph for this recording bares striking similarity to the first recorded instance of this entity.
4. "Leave right now." - A church in Gt. Missenden August 2010
This was recorded in a church in Great Missenden.

When recording in churches I make a point of not calling out or asking questions.

It would appear that despite my respectful intentions, this person did not appreciate my presence.
5. Dog bark - Prestwood 15th October 2011
There are sounds in this recording that occur before and after the dog barks. These strange noises intrigue me to this day. These ghostly noises only accompanied E.V.P. recorded in this house.

The recording was taken in an empty room. The house stood silent for around three minutes as we recorded.
6. Clicks and more strange noise - Prestwood 15th October 2011
For this second recording taken from the same house, we placed the recorder in another room and let the house stand silent for another three minutes.

These noises may be disturbing to some. The sounds are synonymous to that of the seemingly malevolent haunting we experienced in that house.

7. Growl - Little Hampden 27th July 2013
This was recorded from a burial mound in some woodland in Little Hampden.

I was stood on top of the mound when this was captured.
8. "I'm Fred. I wanna tell you something." Prestwood 13th September 2014
This was recorded during a time of increased activity in a house in Prestwood.
9. "No." - Prestwood 17th September 2014
The last from this session. A very blunt response to the question "Are you angry?" The entity responds "No.". This required no cleaning or enhancing.
10. "Long afterwards." - A church in Prestwood 3rd May 2015
This voice was captured during a conversation at a church in Prestwood.

We were the only people present in the church at the time. The voice was very clear and required no cleaning or noise removal to be heard.
11. "Churches." - A church in Amersham 2015
I love this recording.
It was taken in a church in Amersham town in 2015.
12. "Help me!" - Another church in Amersham 2016
An entity whispers "Help me!" as I stand in front of a candle rack in a church in Amersham.

Clear as day. Just hearing this makes me want to go back and enquire.
13. "Mercy." - A church in Little Missenden 2016
This was recorded in a wonderful church in Little Missenden.

As we gazed at ancient murals on the walls of the old building, this entity was recorded.

It simply exclaims "Mercy."
14. "Never Again." - Aylesbury 12th June 2016
This one has loud white noise and was recorded in a house in Aylesbury.

This person continues to reach out with the same familar voice and statement. The spectograph matches the other two.
15. Long EVP - Prestwood August 2016
This is a rather long EVP - an unusually rare occurrence.

It was recording in August 2016 in Prestwood, Buckinghamshire.

"I just wanna smile at them. Seeing, believing you understanding me."
